4 out of 10 words dropped when using headset :x
I am now on my 3rd phone and am still getting this defect. Verizon actually tested my 1st phone and came up with the above results. On the 2nd phone, they didn't even bother to test it, they just gave me a new (refurbished) phone. I have had the 3rd phone for one day now and am already getting feedback from people on the other end that my voice fades out, and this part is new...even when I stop using the headset. I have tried several headsets and rules them out, it's definitely the phone. I am bummed bcause I really like this phone.
Is anyone else getting this?

try switching the auto volume from off to on, that always helps expecially if you are on the road. menu, 9, 5, 6...
also, you changed the phone 3 times but have you thought it may have actually been the headset. some work better than others with different phones, and on top of that yours may be deffective to boot. i use the jabra earwave headset with the 6000 and it works awesome. it's louder than most of the others i have tried on different phones, so i can keep the volume at med low so i don't hear the occasional echo from a tower but i can still hear my friends clearly enough when i am driving in my car with the headset. try it out, you can get it at a verizon store for $30.00 or you can get it off e-bay for about $23.00 including ship...

Thanks for the advice...I just realized that my auto-volume was set to OFF on this phone. We'll see if that helps. However, I have tried 3 different headsets....on all 3 phones.
Keep in mind, Verizon got the 6 out of 10 words test results...basically, confirming the defect.
