LG VX-6000

I just got this phone today and like it so far, however, when I try to access the Mobile Web, I get a message that says "Security Error-Key Not Recognized". Anyone know what this means?

hEY...JUST WANTED TO KNOW..WHAT IS THE SEQUENCE FOR TURNING ON THE SPEAKER ON LG 6000..

ANY CONS HAVING THE SPEAKER TURNED ON ?

Anyone familiar with this problem with their LG 6000?: just shutting off for no reason, then, when plugging back into the home charger or car adapter, it shows a full battery and operates just fine.

The phone is pnly a few months old!

Hi, I was wondering if the LG VX-6000 or the Motorola v400 takes better quality pictures? With which one if any can u adjust the brightness? And I know that the Motorola v400 has a speakerphone but does the LG VX-6000?

Isn't Standby time when the phone is on but not in use?

I am a young student who only uses my phone for about 5 hours a day, recieving a few calls. I like the idea of a picture phone but won't use it constantly. I've been looking into getting either the LG VX6000 or the Samsung SCH-A670. So far I've heard great and not so great things about both of the phones. Which one do you think I should buy?

For optimum battery life is it better to let the phone get low on battery before recharching or should you recharge every night?

I am now on my 3rd phone and am still getting this defect. Verizon actually tested my 1st phone and came up with the above results. On the 2nd phone, they didn't even bother to test it, they just gave me a new (refurbished) phone. I have had the 3rd phone for one day now and am already getting feedback from people on the other end that my voice fades out, and this part is new...even when I stop using the headset. I have tried several headsets and rules them out, it's definitely the phone. I am bummed bcause I really like this phone.
Is anyone else getting this?

OK I'M GETTING THE VX 6000 TOMMOROW FROM MY FREIND CAUSE HIS PHONE GOT CUT OFF. I WAS WONDERING IF I SWITCH THE SIM CARD DO I HAVE TO CALL VERIZON AND TELL THEM TO DO AN ESN SWITCH? I MEAN WILL MY PHONE NOT WORK? AND ALSO IF THEY DO CHARGE DO N E ONE KNOW HOW MUCH VERIZON WILL CHARGE ME IF I GET ON THE NET AND DO THE SWITCH MY SELF?

Can anyone tell me where I can obtain information on how to remove the Verizon logo from the banner page?

I know I have seen it before but can't remember where.

When you view pics in your gallery, and you reach 20, you cant take anymore pics. And the options on the pics dont provide a move or copy option, almost forcing you to email them to yourself to free up space, and costing yourself 25 cents per upload (no I'm not that cheap), a workaround for this is to start to compose a pix message, but dont actually send the pic, when you compose a message, and cancel it or stop it before it starts to send, it will be in your pix outbox, in that folder when you view the outbox contents , you get an option to save the pic, it will save to MEDIA/GRAPHICS, also you have to name the pic as it gets saved. Now its saved and you can delete it from the gallery since its also in your Media/Graphics folder.

Hello All! I am brand new to this site and admittedly a newbie to mobiles in general. I got my first one just last year July through my job, an LG VX10. It's functional, but extremely no-frills (no cool features or look to this mobile at all). Since my job will pay for an upgrade I'm mulling over my options. I've looked at a lot of product descriptions and user reviews (including those on this site) and it looks like either the LG VX-4500, 4600 or 6000. From what I understand neither of these allow analog roaming. My little okey-doke LG VX10 would sometimes lose its digital signal, but could still place calls on analog. I just got the 6000, and i cant figure out how to send a picture from my computer to my phone. I went on the VZW website and went to picture messaging and uploaded a picture and sent it but when i go to my phone it says i have a picture waiting for me but have to go to a computer to view it???? Any help would be appreciated.

What voice commands can you do with the LGVX6000? I was unaware that the phone can do that?

I heard that the only way to delete pics off the lg vx6000 is by using e-mail or something like that ..is this true or am i totally wrong?? 😕

on AIM's website it says that this phone has AIM installed on it. Is that true? If someone could answer me that would be great. thanks

😁 I just got this new software called DataPilot. It lets me take my pics off the phone without paying verizon, which is nice.

It also let me upload MIDI ringers to my phone and back up my phonebook. Not too sure that I'll use these, but at least I get my photos free now.
