Hello, Im new to this forum and the samsung acclaim. I am wondering if it is possible to set a different ringtone for text messages and voice messages? Can anyone advise on that?

🙄 I'm just curious to know if anyone else With Uscc has had any problems with their ring tones going to silent on their Acclaim?? Mine do and I'm just curious to know if it is something I'm doing or a phone defect?? I'm not doing anything that would make them go to silent that I know of .. 🙄

Does anyone know HOW to delete the trashed emails on ur acclaim and have them STAY OFF??? I click on email account. Then folders then scroll to trashed and hafta hand select each one of them {which sucks too by the way. And there is no option to select ALL} I DELETE THEM AND I WILL BE DARNED IF THEY DON'T SHOW RIGHT BACK UP ON THERE! WTH? YES I USE MY COMPUTER TO DELETE THEM ONLINE ALSO!!!! Any ideas? Yeah I know, get a different phone right? Yeah. Maybe black berry. GRRRR

😕 I have had Blackberry and I now have the Htc TouchPro @.. I now have the chance to get the Acclaim.. I really like my Htc.. But I am hearing good things about the Acclaim,aside from its hard to figure things... My question is, will I be happy about giving up my Htc for this Acclaim or am I better off keeping my Htc? I surf the web. I text like a maniac and email like a fool and send and forward pics to just about everyone.. Will some one please give me some advice : )

having trouble applying a contact from the list to a forwarded text

Just wanted to see what kind of battery life people are getting out of this phone, and what kind of settings you have on it. I don't auto-sync any programs, only refresh on app startup, moderate texting/web browsing regularly throughout the day, maybe 3 hours combined of straight heavy data use/music/game playing dispersed throughout the day and I'm easily making it through the whole day, usually only hitting 15% right before bed. Usually manage 14 hours at least of uptime.

Unless I'm missing something, the Acclaim (Samsung SCH-r880) is NOT capable of forwarding a text, picture or video message. Also cannot save pics from message to send later. 😡 If anybody has figured out how to do this, enlighten me.
