Hello All,
1. Is there a way to shut of the key pad from making noise when the buttons are pushed?
2. is there a way to get rid of the pictures that come in the phone?

1. Yes. Change the details setting under Alert Styles.
2. Not sure if the ones that came with the phone are locked or not. I think you can delete everything at once if they came with the phone, but I'm not willing to try. If its a picture you've taken, then its easy to do it individually.

USCC uses the EasyEdge service for it's ringtones and wallpaper. However for my V810 wallpaper I go to www.allposters.com and find an image that would make a good phone wallpaper. I then copy the image to my harddrive. After that I email the image to my cell phone and volla, a great looking wallpaper. This of course requires you to have picture messaging on your phone but still turns out nicely.
As for ringtones, you would need to get ahold of the USB Motorola cable and upload the images that way.

Yes, you can turn off the click noise the flash makes when you take the picture. Its in the phone settings. The 810 can be personalized a lot to your advantage, I recommend it if you are considering it.

Here's an update: You cannot delete the pictures that come with the phone, i.e., the wallpaper. You can delete pics taken with the phone as well as pics downloaded via Get It Now. However, you can "lock" these pictures to help prevent deleting them mistakenly.

I believe it does provided you can get the music from a BREW app. Others have sent ringtones to the phone itself by changing the extension of an mp3 to .mid. -- at least on the v710, but it should work on the v810.
