You can compare both phones here by going to Phones>Compare Phones. This will give you both specs.

I have not used the LG-VX6000 much, but its a decent phone. I am biased to the v810, which in my opinion is sleeker. I do know the 6000 has been around for some time and sold/sells well. The v810 is doing well at USCC and would have been HUGE at Verizon.

I was one that was holding out for the v810 on Verizon. In September I finally gave up on it and got the LG-VX6000. I have to say, I am quite happy with it. It is small and sleek and has a lot of great features. One of the coolest things is that there is a third party freeware app called BitPim that allows me to do a lot of cool things like:

I'de also be interested in seeing what anyone has to say about this because the only reason i didnt go with the 6000 was that it was sooo popular around here and so many people had it.
Now i'm not so sure about my purchase.

There are a few reasons I would choose the V810 over the LG 6000.( I have used both) First, there is no speakerphone on the 6000. The 6000 is only dual band(so it doesnt support analog). The 810 is tri mode. The v810 is also compatible with bluetooth if you buy the adapter for $39.99. The 6000 however is not.PLus, the 810 is a much newer phone, the 6000 will probably be discontinued soon. Those are all important factors to me, however if you don't care about those things, then the 6000 is a decent phone. Just missing a few feature I like.
