I'm not possitive, but i'm assuming it's a phone problem. Whenever i plug my phone in, car or house charger, it won't stay connected, if i wiggle it around it says charging then eventually either goes back to normal or says no charge...What can i do to correct this problem?

Moto charging ports can be finicky. Are you using the OEM chargers? Sometimes my car charger does it but only sometimes.

yeah, i am using the charger that came in the box...my car charger really doesn't work at all..My phone hasn't charged over 2 bars in like a week now...any suggestions?
...
Could be a battery problem if none of your OEM chargers can juice it to full capacity.

this morning it charged...i'm pretty sure it has to be the charger, or the part of the phone that the charger connects too...and i am 7 hours away from Va...noone in Ga carries us cellular..am i pretty much just scrued until i can take it home? I can't ship it home because then i won't have a phone..sorry for the trouble, thanks for the help..

I'm having the exact same problem. Sometimes, I leave it on the charger all night, and in the morning, its only at two bars. I know its not the battery because I bought a new one and its still doing the same thing. The charger is very sensitive now as well. Any slight movement disconnects the charger and the phone either says "no charge" or "invalid charge". I dont know if its the phone, the charger, or something with the connection between the phone and the charger. Have any ideas?

I have the same problem now. The charging port on the v810 is finicky for sure. I have now resorted to buying two new batteries and charging them without the phone in a dual slot desktop charger. That is my only option anymore without buying a new phone. I love the size of this phone & it being tri-mode, the large screen etc. The 265 is bigger with a smaller screen! weak. (mine is on verizon with USC firmware) I was thinking about buying another v810 but i really am not sure what to do anymore. I think i am destined to never have a phone as small as this. I would definately get the vx3200/3300 if it had an external display. Damnit.

1. If the contacts on the phone's charging port are dirty, that might be the issue. I've had to clean mine once or twice.
2. I have a Verizon v810 but its not for sale even though I'm with USCC.
3. Agree with the size and the possibility we won't ever see a phone this small again.

I have had this problem with a couple of my motorola phones with this charger, try a cue-tip with some rubbing alcohol on it to clean the contacts (make sure the charger is unplugged and the battery is out of the phone first) that has worked for me quite a few times.

The official notice from Motorola to Technicians I believe tells them to swab the contacts of the phone and charger with alcohol. This in only a temporary resolution to the overall design flaw of this charging port.
If you own a phone post v60, there is a 99.7% chance you have expirenced it. I have seen it hundreds of times. Replacing the system connector doesn't work, replacing the phone doesn't work.
It will take a complete revamp of the charging system/design to resolve this all to common problem.
