Motorola V810
RELEASE DATE!
My friend is a manager at verizon and he told me the release date for the v810 is March 14. After reading all the info about the phone being pushed back I asked him again....he told me the release date is the same and that he has the demo in the store already! Iono, I just hope it comes out on the 14th

I have a friend in the Parsippany, NJ VZW store, he had the demo for the a610 1.5 months ahead of when it was released, so that means nothing.
He says he is waiting on his demo to come, he says that its no earlier than April 1st, and he feels that the April 30th date is the most reliable date now.

All I know is that I talked to my boss and he says that the phone is on his ordering website. Although it is not being released yet. I also have seen one guy with the phone, he came into my store in Santa Cruz, Ca. So we'll se when? p.s usually the phones are on the ordering site for up to a month than they are released, I was told this info one week ago.

I was at a Verizon store in NJ yesterday and asked about the V810, he said alot of people are waiting for it including the salesman but they have no date on when it will be avail.
He also told me to check out phone scoop for info. Told him i did already and he just laughed. He said that verizon seems to be holding back alot of phones because the sales are still good on the current models

I talked to several people in several VZW stores in the LA and Santa Monica area and they didnt even know what the 810 is and never heard of it and I might as well of been asking about brain tumors.Sure didnt sound like we're a few weeks away from getting it. But who knows????????????

this phone should be out early june 2004, a friend of mine who works for motorola is stilll testing the prototype, pretty kewl phone.

There would be no point in releaseing this phone in june, it will be outdated by then since the V710 is expected around that time frame
