Sanyo SCP-7200 / RL-2000

One of the first PTT (Push-To-Talk) phones for Sprint PCS. This ruggedized CDMA phone also features Java downloadable applications, 1xRTT high-speed data, speakerphone, voice dialing, and voice dialing.

Does anyone know if this phone or the RL2500/SCP-5400 phone will be sold at Best Buy? Someone wrote that the RL2000 is available at Radio Shack and its listed on their website, but I can't find a store location that has it to even get a look at it. Also, sprint's site says these phones are only available through Sprint stores?? I have an older version of the RL2000 (the Sanyo 4900) which I bought at Best Buy and I want to upgrade with either the RL2000 or RL2500 but must do it through a BB store. Any help would be great.

This phone will be called the SANYO RL-2000... It was added to the Radio Shack database within the last couple of days. The RS catalog number is 17-2587 and will be sold for $299.99.

You access the phone at the www.radioshack.com by typing the catalog number into the search.

Another phone was added to the database Friday night called the Sanyo RL-2500PTT (catalog number 17-2586) and also has a price of $299.99.

RS shoud have the phones in stock within the next couple of weeks......
