Recording Voice Clips
I just purchased this phone but cannot figure out how to record voice clips for my contacts list (i.e. the name of my contact). When I press the side button it just asks me what menu item I choose to use.
Any ideas??

Cause you dont...when you press the side button which is the voice commands feature just say "contacts" and the phone will ask you to say a name and it will give you a match and the phone will say "did you say who ever that contacts name you said" and just say yes or no...the phone will dial the contact person you wish to call. I know in the manual it instructs the user to do what your original question is but its not. They need to re-write the manual. The phone has voice recognition feature...meaning you dont need to record the name of your contact as what you would do with a voice activated dialing. You could just even use the digit dialing feature and say the number and the phone will dial it for you of course after it does all its usual ...

Thanks for the information Popeye. However, all my contact were transferred in when i received this new phone. the voice command does not recognize any of my contacts. it brings up four names that are nowhere near the name i am asking for. i cant figure out how to correct this problem. any more ideas?

First I need you to check what firmware version you have. You know how to check that right. If you dont go to menu press 9 then 8 then 2 under S/W ver. what does it say is it
T45VZV02 or T45VZV01. If you have 01 you have the old version 02 is the new version.
Are you saying exactly what your contact persons name is the way you have it saved in your phonebook? If not say it exactly the way you saved it in your phone book. Try that first. The second thing I could think of is try erasing one of your contacts name and input it again and save it then try the voice command on the contacts. Did you do the training on the commands and digits? If not try doing that to train your phone. Do this one at a time to see which one works first. The re...
