LG Revere external clock doesn't stay on?

My mom has an LG Revere.

She wants the external clock to stay on all of the time.
I can't find a menu setting for this.

Anyone know if this is possible?

I never seen an option for this. Probably due to the fact that it would drain the battery a lot quicker.
