Kyocera SE47 / SE44 / V5 (Slider)

😳 WHAT THE ****?!?!?! i keep getting lines on my phone, and they will NOT go away! i can make them go away, but they come back 👿 anybody know wut da **** is going on here?

Ok I just got the SE44 with Alltel and I have a data cable but I can't seem to put any real tones on my phone, it keeps saying invalid format, I tried wav and mp3. I had a free trial of the real jukebox and it played real tones fine so I know my phone is compatible or I hope so. All the songs online were kws files and they are poly.

Can I get realtones on this phone and if so what is the format needed??? the data cable I have is the Kyocera TxDTA10054, is this not the right one?

Is there a way to create a custom screen saver for the slider? Is it just an animated GIF? I'm a bit wary of experimentation with my phone, so is there any precedent for this?

I know this is a silly question, as I assume the SE44/47/V5 are all (generally) the same phone, but is there a significant difference in the SE44 that would make the SE47's how-to guide non-applicable for it?

I've had my slider for well over a year now, I think, and I remember finding help forums for adding my own ringers and wallpaper and such. I've got quite a little library of midis and wallpapers on my slider but only after going through a couple of phones. (One got washed, accidentally and wouldn't stay charged afterwards and had to be replaced so that doesn't count.)
I remember reading that you could use MP3s on the slider, but there were no specifics given for the MP3, so I popped one onto my phone and it crashed and could not b...

Ok, so this morning I woke up to find that my beloved slider was not working. It started with the keys lit up but no screen, so I tried to turn it off but it wouldn't go. I took the battery out and tried again but nothing. It looks as dead as Barbie's cell phone. I'm wondering if it's the battery since it doesn't keep a charge for more than an hour.. but before I buy a new battery for this piece I was wondering if this has happend to anyone else.

My cellphone (SE47) has gone into an upload mode where while powering it on, I see an Icon with a PC and a cell phone and arrow between them on my LCD display 🙄 I tried powering if off and on several times nothing worked and I can't get rid of this icon, can someone please please help me? 😢 Thank you in advance

Anyone have any instructions on how to disassemble the phone? I made an attempt at it today, but had some trouble with getting the front faceplate off. I had a completely clear housing for my T720 and have been considering doing the same with this phone (check eBay - there are plenty of them for SE47)...

My phone Keeps Saying searching and it wont let you dial out or call in. And how are you able to use t2t?

Just wondering if anyone else had this problem. Had the phone for about a month. Took it back to Verizon and they game me a new replacement phone & charger right out the box. Apperantly Kyocera has a 30 day phone replacement policy on any problems you might be having with the phone.

i have a slider and was wondering if u can set voice memos as ringtones...i kno other phones can do that but was unsure if the slider has that feature. if it does could someone please explain how.. thanks

I have a SE47 sliderv5 with me here and I went in the nam programming code which is VIRGIN(847446)and input all the requirement information.Everything set but still cant detect signal. So I tried reprogramming, but cant go through the same code VIRGIN. Why? If you can help me with the complete program code(s)Detail. Thanks a punch.

My current K7 phone (virgin mobile) has a broken antennae so i NEED a new phone.

It's either this phone (on sale for $79.99 @ virgin), the new Nokia shorty ($50) or the new K10 royale ($99)

This phone seems good and all with the color screen but no downloadable games and wallapapers. I heard that this phone breaks easily, is this true? How is the phone overall?

Quick Question. I had been previously using an LG-VX4500, and under the Worry Free Guarantee, returned it in exchange for an SE47. I had originally purchased a Mobile Office kit for the 4500, but have noticed that there is not one offered by Verizon for the Slider.

Does anyone know if the USB Data cable shown on Kyocera's website will work to access the web through Verizon?

Just curious. I'd like to have the wireless internet connection back up and running.

i just bought a kyocera se47 for verizon wireless and have already had a problem with it 😢 . upon turning the phone on there is a thin purple vertical line that runs right through the screen. also the signal strength flucuates all over the place, and the reception for this phone is Very Poor.
has anyone else had similiar experiences with this phone? if so did you try to find out with the problems might be? and did you get any definitive answers?
