Simliar to a530?
It looks like this is designed a lot like the a530...those of you who have seen it, is that true? I love the a530! And I'm jonesin' for a cool PTT like this one, if they incorporated a little bit of the a530 in this, I'll be even more excited! Just wondered if anyone knew...thanks!

It will almost be identical, i have the owners manual, and it has a external COLOR caller id. Menustyle is alike almost identical. And the PTT menu looks pretty cool also (for a menu i guess)But if you like the a530 but you need PTT then this is the way to go.Or better yet you will love this phone.

external color caller id? what manual do you have? because the official "final" manual that i have for this phone doesn't show nor say anything a color caller id.

A690 has a mono external screen, A530 has a color one; A690 has speaker phone function, so it's "longer" then A530; also, A690 has PTT. In terms of appearance, A690 is black and bigger.

If you go to the samsung website, it clearly says, you love color, now you have the benefit of DUAL COLOR Display! and that is exactly what the a530 has. As far as size i never commented on it, color, yes it will be the dark blue color, and finally, release

hmm... Samsung website is kinda tricky, it said "dual color phone", but it didn't mention anything about the external screen. but anyway, i'm pretty sure the external screen is mono, not color. and talking about a530, i'd say a670 is much much more like a530, than a690
...
I'm gonna contact sammy and find out exactly what they mean by "Dual Color"
