Video Quality and format questions?
Looking to get a new phone and have these questions on the Nokia 6600.
1. How is the video quality on this phone? I just saw a T-mobile commercial and the video on the 6600 looked flawless.
2. What format is the video e.g. MPEG, AVI ext...
3. Have you tried sending a video via sms, email or Bluetooth to the phone.

Go to your local T-Mobile direct store and play with the demo.
Personally, I have used it (employee) and the video and camera quality is awesome.
I haven't tried sending any MMS with it.
Best way to test any phone is to try the demo yourself.

The video quality is nothing like that commercial you saw. The video is quite good all things considering, but it only does 9 sec. of recording and dont plan on recording anybody moving a whole lot cuz it turns out really poor...

Looked at the 6600 at the local T-mobile store and was not impressed! The phone will attract a lot of females (which were oozing over the phone) that’s for sure. It’s light but seems flimsy. The joystick looks and feels like a broken peg from some toy. The reps at the SI Mall are un-knowledgeable. Can’t answer simple question about transferring video via Bluetooth and makes me wonder how they sell phones. Hope they not working on commission! The only working 6600 was not on display, and since the un-knowledgeable reps didn’t know how to use it and wouldn’t let me play with it, I really couldn’t check out what compression is used for video or if any quality settings are available. Overall… I think I’ll pass on the 6600 and wait for the MotoV7...
