Nokia 6600

Hi,

I'm using Jabra BT250 with my Nokia 6600. Many time the problem I face is that when I initiate new call the Jabra handsfree kit gets disconnected and a message display "Bluetooth device disconnected do you want to activate eadset". Anybody have faced simillar problem. Please help me.

Besides EDGE is there any differences? Does EDGE make that much of a difference?

Hi everyone, I have a nokia 6600 with T-mobile and when I go under security and setting its asking me for a lock code, I tried the default 12345 and it doesn't work!!! I also tried formatting the phone by pressing the *3talk power combo and once formatted, it still doesn't recognize 12345 as its code. So if anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it...

Just got the Nokia 6600 phone last week.
(won it) Lucky me.
Cingular sent me the SIM card but no signal
appears. Accoring to Cingula, AT&T, and T-Mobile this phone should work. I am not getting any signal period. Do I need to get the PUK (unlock code) from Cingular. I have another friend that has this phone on Cingular.
Any advice or suggestions ?

I've read several postings involving the conversion from MPG etc. to 3GP format, which is done by the Nokia software directly.

But how can I convert the videos which the 6600 makes and which are in 3GP format into MPG or AVI?

I just got this phone a couple days ago. I charged it up for 24 hours as instructed, then drained the battery by using it until it died (also as instructed). During my brief use of this phone, it has been nothing but trouble. It reboots all the time at apparently random times. Sometimes it reboots when I'm hitting a key, other times it reboots while it's just sitting there not being touched. I also get a lot of "App. closed" messages, usually followed by "MainWatcher Thread" or "MscvServer" or "ScreenSaver" or something like that. I'm really disappointed because I was pumped to get this phone due to everyone's reviews (and my friend likes his). Does anyone know what I can do to fix these problems? If you use the web browser(Opera?) would you need to subscribe to t-zones?

It seems everyone has questions, but nobody has answers. Oh well, I'll try anyways. I still have a couple of days before the end of my 14 day trial period.

I got the 6600. I have established a bluetooth connection, and I can send images from the phone to the computer. There is no CD (contrary to the users manual), but the PC sync software is available on the Nokia site. When I configure the PC software, I have to choose between com1, com2 and infrared. There is no bluetooth option. I've tried using all three options, as well as selecting none. No matter what I do, the PC software cannot recognize the bluetooth connection with the phone.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

I can't figure it out. Anyone know the format/software to use to create real ringers? wav is too big and the midi programs wont play the real song. Help!

I am using Nokia 6600.. when I started using it for capturing images it woked very fine...but now I am facing one problem with this.When I captured an image it is taking so much time to save the image...is there any procedure to follw and fix it??

I know that an SD card cannot be used in this phone, but has anyone tried an RS-MMC card (with adapter)? The only reason I ask is because they are a lot more prevalent in my area, whereas an MMC card I'd have to order online.

Or, does anyone have a recommendation for a reputable online store for MMC cards? What brand do you like the most or have you had the most luck with? I want to buy a 512mb or a 1gb MMC or RS-MMC (if it'll work).
