TEXT MESSAGE RINGTONES????????

hi i was curious how u set the text message ring tones for vibrate or just change it in general because even though my phone was in vibrate, incoming text messages sare still a loud bell/alert... which is really annoying. If anyone knows how to change it, it would be most appreciated. Thanks again.

I finally figured it out!!!!! That loud ring every time I got a text message was driving me CRAZY!!!! You have to go into messages, then to #9-Msg Setting, then #3-General, Then #3-MSG. Alert, then #2-Type or #1Volume/Vibrate. 😁 I hope this helps anyone else who is as dense as me aout this stuff.

This is correct but it doesn't work for me. I still get a two beep notification when I get a txt message, even though I have set it to either vibrate or even in silent mode. Any ideas what can be done?
