text message problems
i have had this phone for a while, but never bothered asking this question. how come when i get a text from somepeople it will not show their name on the screen at the 'from' part, but it will show the names for other people?

Let me see if i undertstand what you are asking. When you recieve a text message ( assume also that you haev the direct view option diabled) that you want to see who the message is from before you open up the message? Is that what you are trying to figure out. It's the screen where you can either view or ignore the text message.

its probably because the other people arent from Verizon Wireless.. i noticed this myself, but i could be wrong.. just my 2 cents

It might also be the callback # feature. If people turn that on, then when you recieve a text message and before you open it up, it'll say the number of who sent it, or if the person is alreay on your contacts list, it'll show the person's name.
