Accessories--especially a leather cover?
I'm planning to purchase the the A670 tomorrow at my local Radio Shack. What is everyone else doing in the way of accessories?
RS has a variety of add-on accessory packages, including one that has a nice-looking leather cover with a belt clip (meant for the A680, but seems to fit well), a standard car charger, a deluxe headset, and an extended battery--all for $99. Is that worth it? If purchased separately, it would be double that amount. But am I better off getting the accessories elsewhere? I'd probably want these four items anyway. I'm just wondering how the quality compares to what could be purchased elsewhere/individually.

I purchased the add on package from VZ that has the car charger, the upgraded headset and the leather case....
Personally I don't like the leather case...but I've never liked them on any phone...they just add bulk to me.
As for the others...the car charge seems to work fine, the headset is very nice! Until now I had a cheap earbud that I couldn't hear people on so I never used it. This one is nice and loud and clear...actually if I turn it up too loud I get distortion.
I don't have the extended battery, I don't talk too much throughout the day, and I just plug it in at night.
On a side note, the VZ manager told me it's bad to leave the phone plugged into the charger after it's gotten a full charge. I forgot what she told me ...

Yeah, it would be good to get an authoritative answer on the aspect of battery charging.
Any idea who makes VZ's cover? RS's has clear plastic covering the internal screen and the *0#, 789, and 456 rows. The belt clip is molded into the cover. Is that the same with VZ's cover?

No idea who makes this, but it is as you describe. Plastic that covers the internal (and external) screen, the num pad and a molded in belt clip connector.
