670 release ??
I am a bit confused..
My friends at Verizon here in NJ have no dates set yet ?
They do have the phones in the store but they have no dates from Corporate ?
Any thoughts ?

A670 Arrived in Verizon Store
The A670 arrived in my store Tuesday. Its a really nice package, as small as the 530. The video recording is nice, with up to 12 seconds of recording video and sound. These should be out sometime next week, possibly as soon as Monday, the 7th. Definatly the smallest nicest phone Verizon has to offer yet. Dont know yet what pricing will be. I would just like to see the 610 ripped off the shelves. No one buys that phone anyway.

Missing Features
Doing a comparison of the 670, LG4600, and 7000 I noticed that the 670 doesn't support multiple numbers for phonebook entry, the 7000 doesn't support custom ringtones, and neither has the ability to customize a ringtone to a specific caller. The 4600 can do all of these things. It just doesn't have the camera. It seems like the 4600 is the best of the three. Or am I wrong?

I'm the one you have been talking to at the TC Kiosk. Just received the price strip for the phone yesterday, meaning that it's release should be very soon. Will call you when I have it. 😉

Video or not to Video?
Okay, apparently you can't video message. But, can you download the video to a computer? Also, is anyone sure one way or the other if there will be software upgrades to allow videomessaging? Thanks

Are they in FL yet?
I called the VZN Kiosk in our mall(Jensen Beach) and another store in Stuart. Both told me they didn't have them and didn't know anything about them coming out?
Any thoughts? Are they just blowing smoke?

it really is so so sad
I mean the phone is out (officially on tuesday), it is so small and cool and bright and just a great phone BUT no video messaging.Now Im gonna have to wait till the 15th or 25th or whenever, for the 9900 or 7000 (my first choice) or the 710. Sad huh. So close yet so far!!!!!!!!

I am holding one in my hand... They just arrived in the store today. I'm a VZW retail rep and we got 10 real 670's today.. they are very cool looking.. size is similar to the 530, a litle wider though. the external display is incredible. I would believe the June 8th Launch date since we now have the real thing in the store. : )

A670 DUMMY PHONES ARE OUT!!
The A670 will be released VERY shortly...Direct Verizon Wireless stores have already recieved the SAMSUNG A670's DUMMY phones....It looks NICE! And its small! Keep on waitin...cuz verizon's rollin out ALL new phones.. 😉
