Didn't HTC mention 4.1 updates in October?

I want to say I saw an article a while ago which stated that HTC committed to updating a variety of their current devices to 4.1 by the end of October. I'm a One X user myself and I'm anxiously awaiting Jelly Bean.

HTC One S: Please Help! what is this quick launch thing?

I recently upgraded to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and decided I'd check out the voice command stuff since I never have before. So I've found that it's kinda a pain to use so far. I can't get it to work correctly at all in the dialer, and everything else just seems kinda pointless. However, during all this I stumbled across something called "quick launch." I opened it, and a list of all my apps comes up with a heading that says quick launch and the little gear looking settings logo. One S or Galaxy S3

I've got a few more months till my 2-year T-Mobile G2 contract ends, and then I'll be making a change to either the One S or Galaxy S3. My main reason for the change is that I'm very dissapointed in the G2's camera which aside from taking horrible low-light pictures (courtesy of a F3.53 focal length) and also a glitch in either hardware or software where the left side of the pictures come out blurry.

I'm finding myself carrying my phone everywhere I go, and I want a phone that I can take clean shots without resorting to my larger Nikon P300 or much larger Nikon D80. So we will see what the next few months have in stock.

My ideal phone would be a One S with a keyboard, to perhaps be branded as a T-Mobile G3. But one could only hope.....

One S = better?

I don't know about you guys, but I would rathar have an OLED screen and NOT have battery sucking LTE, as long as you are in a good signal area for T-Mobile, HSPA+ 42 should be damn fast.

What's the Droid name?

HTC One doesn't fit the Droid brand. What will they call the Verizon version? Droid Uno?
