3G Voice + Data At The Same Time

I'm just curious how I can browse the web while I'm on a 3G call with no 4G or wifi? What is different about this phone that allows me to do that?

I read this and was like no it does not! So I tried it and WOW it does work! Maybe has to do with HD voice and takes up less space so can use 3G data and voice? Or upgrading towers to LTE is making the 3G side better as well? GSM has been able to do it for a while....not sure though.

Yes, it's pretty awesome. I've come to discover that it is because this phone supports the new SVDO technology. It apparently has to do with the phone and not the towers.
