i tried to download ringers from 3gupload but i try to use them it tells me to download application content and it won't play it. how do i get this to work? 😡

You are probably trying to download QCP voice ringers which this phone doesn't support. It only supports polyphonic MIDIs. I believe only phones with Qualcomm chipsets, which is every phone but Nokias and I believe Motorolas, support QCP voice ringers.
