Im trying to download a ringer via wap:

when i go to the link on my phone, it plays the tune after i select download, but does not save the new ringer in my ringers folder inside downloads. Any suggestions?

sprint pcs has been extraordinarily careful over the years in regulating what files are allowed on their network...they made a decision when they launched vision to only allow files accessible thru the links on the vision homepage to be downloaded to their phones. any other website, downloads simply won't work.

got to correct myself...after switching to an a620 (my nok got wet at sea world), i am able to download ringtones, games, and screen savers for free from www.3gforfree.com from my phone
