Jesus, Update the 1320 already!
its been "under testing" forever! I emailed nokia and cricket and both of them said it would be updated by 8/28, this is depressing

About time...
ATT finally released the update. Some nice subtle features added, but I like being able to use some of the cool Nokia apps that I couldn't use before. The glance pic app is nice. It adds a nice level of customization for the glance screen. Now, you don't have to look at m otherwise boring black screen with just the time and battery icon.
Well done Nokia. Hopefully, this app forward thinking doesn't stop, once the officially become part of MS.

Tmobile
Lumia 810 and 521 both have it. You may have to manually check.

Carriers
Love or hate Apple, their control of software updates is the best in the business. Carriers suck at it.

Nice!
I've used it for the first time today, on my Lumia 920. I must say, at least in my area, it is very accurate. No rerouting messages, when you don't go the exact way it tells you. It just tells you where to go, when you do. Example, I went straight, instead of making a left, and it just told me to make a u-turn, when I got to the next intersection. It also works through bluetooth, the speed limit settings work pretty good.
This navigation app should be a joy to use for most people. I plan on testing it further, when I get a chance. But, for now, I think it's one of the better navigation apps out there, I would dare say right up there with Google Drive. Actually, I do dare to say. 😁

How does it make sense that...
...the LTE version has a smaller battery?
The 810 has an 1800mAh battery while the 820 has only a 1650mAh battery. How does that even make sense?

ATT app
I hate when carriers push apps onto phones and take up space, if I want the app I will download it. The good thing I see with windows phone is that WE CAN UNINSTALL THE APP.

later this month?
quote from article: :...will be available later this month..." This month is October. The artcle was posted on Oct.29. This month seems unlikely.

More exposure = more users and fans of WP8
With the introduction of WP8 on three major carriers in the US, this should be good the WP8 OS to gain more exposure and more momentum. There will always be folks who just will not gravitate or like the OS for one reason or the other. But, for those who are fans or just would like to try something different, without having to leave their current carrier is a plus.
I guess we will see how much more the OS will become more popular.

Why only AT&T?
How does Microsoft expect for Windows Phone to take off when they're doing the one carrier B.S. again. Nokia needed to pull a Samsung and the release the phone on all carriers at once. That's the only way. Haven't they learned anything from Palm and the Sprint fiasco?

Keep in mind
While I do wish the Nokia would not have allowed the 920 to be exclusive to just one carrier, the fact of the matter is, there are four other very good phones to head to other carriers. Both HTC phones and that goliath of a phone, the Samsung Ativ. If I'm not mistaken, the Nokia 820 will still make an appearance on other networks.
Someone had mentioned that Microsoft shouldn't have allowed this to happen. The thing is, despite their close partnership with Nokia, Nokia is a business of its own and doesn't answer to Microsoft, when it comes to who they decide to sell to, even of they (Microsoft) may want the phone to sell on more than just one carrier. Besides, with the way things are looking for WP8, i doubt OEMs will stop at just what is...
