Sanyo SCP-5500 / VM-4500
missing calls
Ive had the 5500 for about a week now. Ive had several calls go straight to my voice mail without ever ringing. Has anyone else had this problem?

I had that problem when I first got my 5500 activated. I upgraded from the 8100. I was playing around with both comparing them and left the power on, on the 8100. (the 8100 was no longer activated). Meanwhile I put the 5500 in different rooms and dialed my cell number from my home phone to see how well I could hear the ringer. I called about 14 times straight even moving the phone right beside the home phone and kept getting the voicemail . I called Sprint to ask if there was a problem with the network and they informed me that the no longer activated 8100 was creating confusion on the system by having it on. They said that 8100 could ring or both phones could ring. I did get the voicemail icon on the 8100 though. Once I turned off the power...
