Nokia 6230

MMC problems

I just bought an AData 512mb MMC and it my 6230 won't even read it. it read my last card fine, that was a 128mb sandisk card. does anyone know how i could get it to read my new card? my firmware version is 4.43. thanks

Have you tried the card in anything else? Card reader, another device? It should work in anything that takes SD also.

If you can't do any of those tests, try to take it to a store and see if it will work in a different 6230.

I have a card reader and it worked fine with that, i put a whole bunch of MP3's on the card, but the phone just wouldn't read it. I tried reformatting the card via the reader and that didn't do anything.
