I currently have an A500, and I'm considering the A680. Does the SMS on the A680 reside on the phone, or is it on the server like the A500? Thanks.

How does one know which they are using? I was told that this phone did not have built-in SMS, which struck me as odd, since the interface was so clean and smooth.
I have signed up for the Sprint Picture Vision Pack, or whatever the heck they call it this week. It gives me 100 SMS for free. How can I force it to use Sprint's web-based shortmail?
Do I simply have to browse to it via the web and not reply to SMS messages in-phone?
