TEXT messaging problems!!!
Anytime she tries to send a message to a non-verizon phone the person doesn't get the message for a long time... usually hours later and sometimes the next day!!! Also, these messages never say "delivered" for the message status, but would say something like delivery unsuccessful.
She had the phone software upgraded to the "08" version, and nothing changed. Today we exchanged the phone for another VX-7000 and she still has the same problem. This really sucks because we both TEXT a lot to all our friends and each other.
She did change service pr...

When I called today, the rep spoke with tech support since he is having the same issue with his 7000. He said to go to the Verizon store and have them do a flash update. If that doesn't work, he told me they would replace my phone(s). Other than that, it looks like it's not just isolated to a few people, so if enough people bring it up, Verizon will probably figur...

I don't know if this is the same situation that you are having. But I contacted customer care and explained the situation. They did some Tier 1 troubleshooting (tried to send a test text message...etc). Then they transfered me to WDTS where they did the same troubleshooting with me (except they actually looked at the switch view to see if I had any unusual blocks on my account). Then they transfered me to a data group, who couldn't figure it out, but escalated it to their supervisor. That supervisor said that they were able to see ...
