LG VX-7000

Hi, is there a way to delete the stock ringtones. I have deleted all the ones that I could except the ones that are labled ringtone 1 or any other number. I have a data cable, and was wondering if there was a way to delete these through the data cablr and computer. Thanks.

I want to use my LG phone as a modem. I have the mobile action cable that includes handset manager which does not support modem. Anybody know how I can use the phone as a modem and/or where I can get driver. Thanks.

A few people in this forum are strong supporters of handset manager, so much so that in my opinion it appears to be subliminal advertising. What a great way to sell a product is to say how great it is on a forum. Kind of like a restaurant owner acting like a consumer and giving his own restaurant agreat review on citysearch or other review website.

I have had both products for almost a year. Bitpim is free so I assure you my opinions are unbiased. I suggest bitpim and a cheap ebay data cable over handset manager. And bitpim is constantly releasing updates so the product just keeps getting better and better.

how do i take off the face plate if i wanna change it or you cant?

i went to the verizon store today nd it seems as if they have raised the frekin retail price of the vx7000 to 279...wen it use to be 250...do u kno ne place where i can get it at atleast 250???or a lil lower if not its okays thanks 🙂

can you tak off the antenna on the LG VX7000 and get one of those cool flashing ones that you always see at the Kiosks in Malls?

if your friend calls and you have their pic for them to call does it come up on the front LCD or do you have to open the phone to see???

My phone went though the washer the other day but not the dryer... any suggestions and has this happend to ne1?? i searched for water and read about the blow drying and towels... but i dunno if the soap would screw it up anymore

Hi! I am kitty, can someone who has (data) handset manager tell me the pros and cons of it vs. data pilot. Handset manager can be purchased at: futuredial.com and data pilot is at www.malcomwireless.com . They both are about the same price. I don't know anything about. Can I download pictures form my phone to my PC with Handset manager by mobile action? Also, does the kit come with cables?

Are people giving up on the LG 7000 now that Verizon has discontinued it and moved on to another phone. I am seeing posts where people say they "had" the LG 7000 and now have the LG 8100 for example.

I upgraded from a VX3200 to a VX7000. in the 3200 you could default the entry form to T9word. on the 7000 it is ABC default, is there a way to defult the style to T9word so i dont have to keep setting it?

when I have a new VM, the phone beeps and screens "New VM, check now?" or words to that effect.

But if I auto dial from that screen by clicking yes, I have enter my PW. Unlike my edited entry in memory 1 that dials the number and pw as one stroke.

Is there anyway to get the "New VM" to do the same?

I saved a phone conversation that I had with this phone, I exported it with BitPim, but it's in that .qcp format. I can't get a media player to play it. I also tried importing it with Audacity, but couldn't get that going either. Does anyone know how to do this??

I have a VX7000 that I am not using. It has some minor scratches on the outside but it is very good condition.

Also have the charger. Sorry no manual though.

If anyone is interested in the phone let me know I am sure I can work out a good deal for ya. ie: cheaper than you can get one on ebay.

I would like to know if the usb cable can be used to move videos outta the phone onto your computer.

Where can I pick up a data cable for my LG VX-7000 phone. I have been trying radio shack for the past 9 months and they never had it in stock. I called Future Dial and with the shipping it is almost as expensive as buying the whole kit from Verizon.

Has anyone had any luck purchasing a data cable? If so, where did you get it?

I noticed that the LG VX-7000 is no longer on Verizon's web site. Has the model been discontinued?
