make you own mp3 ringtones
just found a site that step by step teaches you how to make your own rings tones. I thought you guys and gals would like this.

I'm confused. Can I use this program for LG phones? I see it is for audiovox 9900.
Also, can I use this on xp home edition.?

you dont need any programs to put ringtones on your phone. This is wha i do:
1. goto walmart.com or any other site with mp3 sound clips
2. find the song you want
3. right click it and goto "save target as"
4. save the file as a midi file instead of mp3
(example: usher.mid ) save under all files
5. if not done so, register your phone at www.vzwpix.com
6. go into your email account via hotmail or whatever.
7. attach th midi file and send it to your phone-- email address sent to should be your number@vzwpix.com (example: 5554443333@vzwpix.com )

if you want to make your own mp3 ringtones then you can use the method i posted. and it works for my lg-7000 i dunno about all lg phones

I just d/ bitpim 7.26, and it comes with a program to convert mp3. It is easy to use. Espeically if I can figure it out.
