I can't find the data cable anywhere? why? all the cables are for other cell phone types. How can I find a suitable one?

I just ordered one from www.cellphonemall.net and should find out in a day or so if it really works.
Also, there are several posts on www.howardforums.com that suggest that the FutureDial cable #19 (I think it's originally made for the vx7000) works.
Has anyone else found a cable that works?

As just a follow up, the Susteen USB cable from www.cellphonemall.net came today. Although it fits, unfortunately, my iBook does not recognize the phone as a USB device. I guess I'll try the FutureDial cable.

The data cable from Radio Shack, 17-792 for the LG6000 (say FutureDial Cable 19 on the box), works fine. This is a USB to Serial cable, and it needs a driver. The driver for the LG6000 will also work with the VX3200, and I downloaded the USB driver installer from:

check ebay for datacables. i always buy them there, it's not the first one i bought.
there is a datacable for lg vx 3200. driver, uploading software included. make a search on ebay.
i belive there is only one guy who sells datacable only for vx 3200 and uploding wallpaper software for that phone. the uploading software is in Java.

The cable that RS used to sell under that number was a USB-to-Serial cable; they are kept the same part number but have started shipping a straight USB cable. (See discussion on the Bitpim website).
The straight USB cable will charge the battery of a VX3200 (which the USB-to-serial cable won't do) but I have not seen any software that works with the VX3200 u...
