I WAS A T-MOBILE USER FOR THE LAST 4 YEARS . AFTER THIS LAST UPGRADE AND NOW RECEPTION AT MY HOUSE ,IM GOING TO CINGULAR.
NOW IM LOOKING FOR A NEW PHONE TO GO WITH IT. IVE HAD A V600 AND A 6600. IM A TECH JUNKIE AND MY WIFE IS A 2 CANS AND A LONG STRING GIRL. PLUS MONEY IS TIGHT AS ALWAYS WITH 5 KIDS. I FOUND A DEAL FOR A 6620 (FREE) AFTER 6 MONTHS AND A REBATE. ALSO THE V551 FOR $50. OR JUST SPEND THE $$ ON A MPX220 $200.00 AFTER REBATE. WHAT OF THESE PHONES IS THE BEST AND WHERE SHOULD I GET IT ?/ THANKS FOR YOUR HELP DOC 😎

Is there some kind of adhesive protector that can be placed on the camera lens without affecting picture quality.

Also, I would like a USB cable but it costs $45 from Nokia! Generic cables are available on Ebay for $4.00 - do these work OK?

I've just got a replace phone, same Nokia 6620, and would like to know the best way to transfer info from current phone to replacement. Is Bluetooth, or Infrared way to go ? How do I go about setting up for data transfer ? Will data transfer incur k-byte usage (I have MEdia basic which has 1MByte download limit).

Whenever I turn off and on the phone, time and date get reset to factory setting, and I must enter them again. Any one experiencing the same problem ? Is there anything I can do to the phone to not to do that ?

I'm going over to europe later on...just wondering if anyone brought this phone over there to use it and was there any problems since it will work only 1800 mhz for this phone. Man I wish it has 900 mhz on this phone.

I just got a new phone, and am excited about it. I've taken some videos, and viewing them on the phone does not yield optimal result. I would like to transfer them to pc and view them on pc. What do I need to do ? BTW, my phone did not come with SUB or SKU cable. Do I just need to buy a SUB cable, connect phone to pc using the cable, and view or transfer vedeos in/to pc ? What is SKU cable for ?

My wife has Motorola v551. Do I need to buy a dongle for Nokia 6620 and another one for v551 ? Or is dongle universal, meaning one works for any brand phone ? What brands are good ?

-how do i activate the picture caller id, or get it full screen. How do i get that software to make it, where do i get it. I thought this phone came with picture caller id???

-how do i get my phone on a vibrate but zero sound?? and if i put it on silent, and vibrate..it still makes noise.

-i do exchange items form folder to folder. like a copy paste kind of thing? like if i want an image in a diff folder.

-can i put a pic on my screen saver display??? how do i do it?

-do i need to buy a usb form specifically nokia to exchat info from phone and pc??

Does this phone offer syncability with outlook? In some reviews I got a 'yes' and others said it wasnt possible. I just purchased the Siemens S66 through cingular and am not happy. So, I'm trying to find a replacement before I send this one back. Please advise. I can also be emailed: oliverorln@aol.com

I apologize if there's a gadzillion sites dedicated to this topic already, our IT guys at work took away all of our passwords to get through the firewall and this is pretty much the only allowed site.

Is there an app that will check my pop3/imap4 email like the blackberry does? ie- checks every 15 minutes, if there's an email, it checks every 7 minutes, if there's an email, it checks every 3 minutes, if there's an email, it checks every minute, then backs off if there isn't one in the time period.

I have been working on trying to get my multimedia messaging to work for TWO MONTHS, and Cingular Wireless has not been able to resolve the problem. I cannot send a Multimedia Message unless I am connected to the Internet. I cannot receive a Multimedia Message (from another cell phone or from an email sent to 5044322777@mms.mycingular.com) unless I am connected to the Internet at the same time the message is being sent to me. How convenient is that!? 😡

I was just wondering if anybody has experienced the following on their Nokia 6620 (Cingular). On a few occasion the phones backlight turns on unexpectedly and I will notice the Nokia logo on a white background as though it was turning on. It seems like a random reset. What could this be? Does Cingular push software updates over the network that will cause the phone to perform a soft reset? The power button is very difficult to cycle by accident so I don't think its me, and just the other day the phone simply froze on a white background. Bad phone, or is this normal?

Is this phone being discontinued from Cingular? You can seemingly only buy it from cingular.com now. I want to hold the phone before I buy it to see how big it really is (when comparing to the 6230) but I can not find it in my Cingular stores and am told they will not carry it.

How is the mp3 player in this phone? Is it loud and clear? Is the mp3 player clarity in this phone like the mp3 player clarity in the Motorola MPx220? Is the mp3 player worser or better than the MPx220?
