Blackberry was the one that pulled their phones
Wasn't it Blackberry that refused to sell T-mobile phones after the promo T-mobile ran for customers to trade in their BB's? I guessing it wasn't T-mobiles decision not to sell the classic until now, but BB just caving in and realizing they need any sale they can get.

Blackberry has learned nothing
I finally got the chance to mess around at length with the Classic. First off, its slow. And I mean agonizingly slow and/or hitchy in some cases. The cheapest smartphones from the competition are more responsive than this turtle of a device. Sure, a lot of it might be fixable via updates, but Blackberry has a very poor history in this regard so I expect little to no improvement. Like previous OS 10 devices the UI is tolerable if you're transitioning from another touchscreen ecosystem..and that's a big problem because the Classic was supposed to be targeted at the most hard-core of the BB faithful. Is it easier to use than the Q10? Yes, but only just. A determined user could probably learn to deal with the Android-like inconsistencies...

Non Removable Battery
The fact I cannot remove the battery & swap it with a fully charged one up till recently was a deal breaker for me however, I am seeing & hearing such good feedback on this device that I may just have to overlook this. In the past, I have always had spare batteries for my Blackberrys. Never being caught without a charge! I'm wondering, was this a step backwards "in my mind" for BlackBerry or does this device need to have a "always constant charge" ?
Release Date for Verizon?
Anyone know the release date for verizon?

Classic review
To each their own Mr Reviewer.
I love my Classic already. Its exactly what I needed, like an updated Bold 9900. The only thing I didn't like was being forced to give up my Blackberry email address.
I have a nice Android phone for multimedia, this one is my business phone and it is a powerhouse for my uses.
Sincerely,
@Mpls_LimoMike

A one-horse review?
Somehow the review reads as many others do - with a blinkered mindset. Many reviewers now look at phones wanting them to be an all-playing, fluffy app-centric device that can only be a 'real' device if it concentrates on all the irrelevancies such as the capability to flirt using 10 different apps, put your messages in a bubblegum pink dialog box, show satellite images on a basic GPS request to get from A to B, etc.
Some things just aren't necessary to most people. Teenagers who live their lives through texting whilst sitting next to each other or whose ability to make judgment calls whilst using a device is hindered, perhaps? Gamers who want a device that allows them to game 24 hours a day (because they cannot be away from some sort o...

Such as next to common phones, big and small so we can tell how big it really is since it's hard to find it in a store presently.
