Motorola V220

My phone only rings twice, not allowing much of a chance to get to the phone and answer it. I've looked at the manual and don't seem to be able to find instructions on how to adjust the number of rings. Anyone know how to do this? Is it even possible?

Does anyone know how to make themes for a motorola V220?

I had my V220 knocked off my belt into the kiddie pool.

Instantly pulled out & the phone would not power on.

I stripped the phone into as many pieces as I could, dried each with towels & hair dryer, reassembled, & Still would not power on.

I bought a V3 razor to replacement, but would like to keep the v220 as a spare. Any suggestions on getting it to work?

Im selling my phone. I used it for 1/2 a year then closed it. I got it on November 27, 2004. It comes with battery, charger, headset, usb cable + cd, and for additional charge a leather case.

I am fast running out of room on my phone just for my address book. is there anyway way to delete the numerous pictures that come as a default on the phone?

I just got my v220 and i cant figure out how to create a voice activated phonebook entry, i know that it says that you cant store them on the sim card (which is how my numbers are being stored right now) but i dont know if you can change that or something. I NEED HELP!!!! PLEASE!!!!

Hey my girlfriend just bought a V220 and she wants to know how to delete pictures, is there a quick easy way to delete them without having to hook the phone up to your computer....

Any way to do this? The manual doesn't mention a keylock, and I suppose it doesn't need one for the rest of the keys, but those side buttons keep getting pressed and changing my ringtone settings...

How can you get an answering machine on the Motorola V220!? I have been wondering since Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Has anyone been successful in sending ringtones to the phone as email attachments? Other phones allow this as a pic attachment in either mp3 or midi format.

If you have, what format did you use and how did you send it, what address?

I have a motorola v220. Last week it is locked i mean software crashed. I removed battery and restart unit. It worked it is now working but when I attempt to enter games section it says: midlet not found you must install midlet? Then quits to main menu.

What is the problem, what is midlet, how can I find and install it to my phone.

How big of a file does an mp3 ringtone file have to be in order to transfer it to my phone via usb 😈

I tried to upload a short MP3 music to V220 by using the file transfer manager from handset manager software, it successfully transfer the MP3 to my V220!

I also tried it by using mobile phone tool, but no such good luck on me. 😡
Is there anyone who use handset manager on V220 too?

i just want to be able to *directly* download photos to my computer from my phone. do i need the $25 "motorola compatible" usb cable from cingular? is it possible that there is a cheaper manufacturer for the same exact cable?

and why do i need the extra "data access" feature added to my voice plan? you mean we have to pay extra just to download the photos on our phones? note that i don't want to email the photos to anyone, just move them to my computer!

and why do i have to have the cingular "connection manager" software if all i want is to connect the cable to my computer from my phone? the instructions tell me to go online and log on and use internet explorer! why do i have to go such a roundabout (costly) way?
