I am in the first settelment class but have not recieved my packet yet. I understand that you have to purchase a new phone first and all that but there is one thing I am just not getting. I could just be thick but answer me this. Do you lose your old plan when you get a new phone through the website? I have had my plan for 7 years and don't want to lose it. Thanks for any help.

My understanding is that the new phones are at new customer pricing.
So if you want the lowest price for the phone you want, you have to extend your contract for 2 more years.
If you don't want to extend you contract, you can get the price with no contract extension, which in most cases, is more than double the cost of a 2 year extension.
