Anyone exchanged their replacement phone?
I got the Samsung SCH-A970 and it sucks. I want to exchange it within my 15 day period, but I am getting the runaround every way I try and get it done. Has anyone gone through this process and if so, how?

Can't you just return the replacement phone for a refund and send in a copy of your receipt for the v710 reimbursement?

I got the same phone you did when I returned my v710. I just returned the Samsung so I can get a phone that I really want, unfortunately now I am stuck without a phone for a few days until Verizon actually receives the return and can credit my account. Customer service told me when you order through the mail (online), you have to return through the mail, not at a store, hence the time without a phone.
They said I could activate another (older) phone in the meantime, but since I got the V710 when it first came out, all my other phones aren't 911 compliant so they won't activate them. Hopefully they'll receive my Samsung tomorrow so I can get my new phone.

I got it squared away today. Had to do it over the phone. Getting a Q shipped overnight. Had to ship out phone today since it was the 15th day from ship date. They charged the new phone/accessories to my account and will credit back the accesosories/phone I sent when it gets back to them. Took a good 30-45 minutes on the phone, but fairly straight foreward.

I talked with customer service Friday evening and was about to purchase a Q over the phone. I told them I'd call them back because I wanted to see if any stores in my area were selling them early. I didn't want to wait another 4 days for a cell phone (including the weekend). I called a local store and they were selling them. It happened to be the same store that told me earlier that week that the Q wouldn't be on sale until the 5th. I went on Saturday and picked one up. I LOVE IT!!!
