is there anyway to transfer text messages to the memory card to be read on a computer? or anyother way i can read a text message besides from the phones main display?

Hey eveyone I used to have a progam that would let me make ring tones. It was a very simple program just an exe if I remeber ringht. You could set beinging and ending set piont to record from MP3's you all ready have.

Anyway I lost this program when the PC crash anyone have a copy I got it from this forum.

Are there certain models or vintages of the V710 where it is absolutely impossible to use Bluetooth file transfer in Mobile Phone Tools even after applying SD fixes? Is there a particular level of Firmware required to use Bluetooth file transfer in MPT?

Does anyone know how I can contact verizon by phone? I want to talk to a REAL person not an automated system! I want to know if verizon can give me my refund, if I have the receipt ONLY (phones gone). Anybody know???

Does Motorola offer FRU's directly if you are out of warranty?

Just wondering if anyone with this has a mac and iSync to see if one can sync vCard and date book with iSync. I know the phone is not on the compatible list on the apple iSync website yet. DOes anyone know if it will be soon?

Could I purchase my new phone at a Verizon store instead of on the the exchange site, and just send in my receipt with my V710?

I was waiting to get some money together so that I can purchase a replacement phone for my v710.

I did not know I only had until June 13, 2006 to send back my v710 to Verizon.

Does anyone know if verizon is sticking to this deadline?

... the instructional form that explains the steps for the phone return! I just received my replacement phone and I DO have everything else, the return envelope and label and other form to enclose with the return, I just seem to have misplaced the instructions. UG! I am running out of time on this thing!

From my understanding, the Silver V3m is plastic and the Charcol Gray case is metalic. The settlement site only lists the Silver one. Any way to get the Charcol Gray one?

Hey, I bought my v710 at radio shack on the very first day they received them in late July of ’04. They got a shipment in of 3 phones and I purchased one of them for $320 in cash. I, like most people do not still have my receipt, but radio shack keeps records of all transactions for 5 years, so I should be able to get a copy. When I went to the store they said they needed both a zip code and a last name to look up the receipt, when they entered my info, nothing came up. We tried several times, several different ways, and they still could not find any record of my purchase. A friend of mine also got a phone that day with me, and they could not find anything on his purchase either, but lucky for him he bought the phone on a credit card so...

I am trying to speak to actual person rather than an automated system... Can anyone help! I would like to get my refund for the v710 phone, but I don't longer have the phone... I have the receipt however, can anyone direct me to the right phone number.

I was curious to how many others out there may have felt that the settlement offer form was misleading. Did you feel that you were made to believe that you were going to get a complete refund or $200 if you didnt have a receipt? I have been sending emails to the "Settlement Admin" explaining my opinion but not having much luck yet. I feel it was intentionally laid out to make you believe that if you purchased a cheaper replacement phone ($100) you would pocket the dif between the V710 original price ($325 for me) I would have received a complete refund if I wasn't a customer any longer! If you did lets start complaining some more.

Is anyone in the first settlement group a little annoyed at how Verizon has changed the price of the phones so often that it basically screwed us of the ability to buy extra accessories? I got my razr (which i love) as soon as i got my packet. Verizon raised the price as that packet came from 99.99-149.99 and then a day later lowered it to 129.99 on the settlement site. I think that was quite unfair to penalize people in the settlement when regular VZW customers could get it for $30 less.

In addition, now the v3m just came out and it 69.99 on the settlement site.

I emailed the settlement administrator to see if there is anything that can be done.

any thoughts?

Greetings to all, hey, i know this is an ollllld subject but... how do i get a ring tone to my VERIZON v 710? I just tried sending an mp3 file via funformobile.com and wonderful VERIZON converted the file to .mid and my v 710 will NOT play it. Please help!! ☹️

I'm having problems transfering mp3's to my phone via tf, I've tried making the mp3 file a midi file but it still won't show up on my phone once I switch storage devices. If any one could help me out I would greatly appreaciate it.
