Motorola V710

I purchased my 710 at full price on August 31st of 2004. I do not have my original receipt. I tried to get it from Verizon and that is where the problem comes in. The store that I bought it at is no longer a corporate store. When they try to pull the transaction up from another location they cannot get it because it gives them an invalid location error. Customer care said they could see where I purchased it, what I paid and all of the info but could not access the actual receipt due to the store being gone now. Is there any way to get my hands on a copy of my original receipt?

I was pleasantly surprised to find that I'd be able to exchange my V710 for a Moto Q. So on June 1, I ordered a Moto Q for $249.99 with only a ONE year agreement. Yet when I received my new phone, the receipt said I had agreed to a TWO year contract.

Their customer service rep just about had me convinced that I must've been hallucinating and sent me to the Verizon web page that proved that the phone in fact sells for $349.99 on one year contracts. He offered to have me pay merely another $50 to "change my order to a one year contract."

Well, having been "misled" by Verizon more times than I care to recall, I had kept detailed "print screens" of the entire purchase transaction. And what do you know, I had proof that showed ...

😢 I let the papers sit on my desk and never sent in my claim. Sounds like you folks are having a "good" time exchanging your phones and getting some cash. Besides the fact I liked my Dave Modded 710,, I'm up for NE2. What phone should I consider? looking at the Razr v3c and e815. thnx

I bought a v3m (gray) off the settlement site. Its still in the box and hasnt been used yet. I want to get the v3m (silver) but the admin said Id have to return it and buy it through My Account on the regular www.verizonwireless.com.

although, theres a few things Im not sure about:

1 - will the prices be the same? on the settlement site I was able to get the v3m for $119 with a 2 yr contract...but if I get it off the regular site, Im not sure if I will be eligible for that price, I may have to pay full???

2 - the settlement admin said to mail the receipt for the new v3m phone in with the returned v710 in order to get the proper rebate. my dilemma is that my v710 has already been mailed in?

thoughts on what to do?

I currently have a V710 and the phone has been the best phone since the TimePort (had a T720 in between). My NE2 will be coming up next month. I am trying to decide between a RAZR v30m or a Q. I like the fact that my V710 is a trimode phone and I realize that the V30m & the Q are dual modes (all phones are going digital) - do I utilize NE2 or not - that is the question?

Just had the following question...I have a photo-copy of my reciept for the V710. I sent the original in for the rebate when I purchased the phone. The amount on my receipt is $319.

1) Will my photo-copied reciept work?
2) Will I have to subtract the $70 rebate amount from the $319?

My paperwork was delivered to the Administrator almost 2 months ago, now. When I returned the first group of paperwork I was still with Verizon. Since then, I have moved to another provider. When I returned the 2nd set of paperwork, I included a letter explaining that I was no longer a VZW customer, and included a copy of the bill with the early term fee on it.

Do you think I am going to get my phone refund plus the early term fee? Did anyone else take this long?

I already got a Razr V3M through my NE2 program. I just got the V710 package a couple of days ago. I obviously don't need to buy another replacement phone. I don't have the receipt for the V710 or any of the accessories.

If I send back the V710 and accessories without receipts, how much will I get back? Will I be able to get at least $200 even though I'm not purchasing a replacement phone through the exchange website? (I paid way more than $200 for the phone, but obviously can't prove it now without the receipt!)

Ok, Motorola announced this new phone to be an "upgrade" of the V710, watch out! it will be released by VZW September of 2009, also expect the same delays of the V710.

Does anyone have the URL where you can check what phones are available to swap out for your v710?

or does anyone know if the silver v3m is available for swapping?? thanks!!

Ok sooo great alright received my packet of info to return it..went on the site and noticed that the V3m is 419...alright well great except I can walk into a store or purchase it online for $259.99 without a contract...so whos kidding who on this one? I am half tempted to go into a store, buy the phone at that price, submit that receipt into the packing along with my V710 one and break even...anyone notice this or has anyone tried this?

Ok well i just got my packet and went to the website and picked out the phone i wanted and filled in my info and then it asked for a credit card to charge for the phone. The diffrence between the phone i want (treo 700p) and the price i paided for the V710 is only like $50

So are they going to charge my card $50 or $450 and refund me the the $400 later?

If its the later, how long does that take?

👀 I got my pacage as well.... I went to the website to chose my phone (Motorola RAZR V3m) and there is a price for $120 with a year contract.
Are they gonna charge my card first and then they going to give me back the refount? 🤨

I was hoping it was my refund, but it was the remaining balance from my account that was closed due to the Settlment.

I'm in the second batch of exchanges. When is this going to begin? Has anybody received theirs?

I bought a Treo 700w before my 5/30 deadline, used the 15 days to exchange for a Q and hated that and returned. Meanwhile I turned my receipt in for the Q and the $319 receipt for the V710.

The whole time, I was using a V3c RAZR since the V710 crapped out. Will I get the $319 or the price I paid for the RAZR?
