misc. questions about phone
Hi,
I have a couple questions about the phone:
The specs for the phone say it has an mp3 player. How much space does it have for mp3s. How do you get mp3s into the phone. Can an mp3 be used as a ring-tone?
I see the phone has "stereo sound". What is the purpose of this? Does it have two speakers? Is there some valuable application of stereo sound on a cell phone that is compelling that I am not considering or is this as useless as it seems?

stereo sound is like loudspeaker but u can play mp3s with it via the player instead of using a jack....at least thats wut i think it is

If you want a good MP3 player, then get a true MP3 player! 😉 It will have much more storage, lots more features, better sound, very small, and you will still be able to use the phone since the cell phone battery will not be dead in about 45 minutes!! 😎
As you said, it is pretty much a useless feature for playing MP3s, unless you just want to use it in a pinch. Just imagine how fast your battery will run down playing MP3s on it! 😕 Any one of the main complaints of all the new high resolution bright screen phones that have come out is poor battery life compared to the old black and white screens.

Thanks for your response but I wasn't really asking if it's a good replacement for a digital camera or portable mp3 player. I'm really just wondering what the particulars are of the mp3 player... i.e. how do you get mp3's into the phone and can they be used as a ring tone?
Also I know what 'stereo sound' is I'm just wondering if and how it is a useful feature for a cellular phone.

the stereo is really only useful when listening to mp3 on the external speaker. (unless of course you consider the slight benifet in loudness that you get having 2 speakers) to get mp3s on your phone, you need to either hook it up to your computer (USB) or download from a provider.
