Battery life
What kind of battery life are you getting with the battery that comes with the phone.
I have been able to get it to show 4 bars for 24 hrs in standby. Do you reccomend the extend battery?

it lasts through the day, i dont think i have ever seen it at one bar. although i charge mine every night

True batt isn't greatest... I actually exchanged my first batt thinking it was defective... not the case. But what do you expect from such a large-a$$ screen and multi-function phone?

I noticed the thing was dead the day after I first got it so I exchanged it. Come to find out I was in a non
V CAST area and the phone was using alot of extra power looking for the signal.
I had VZ turn v cast off so I went into the
secret menu and switched the phone to 1X only and get great battery life now even with my screens set to on all the time

If you get the flashing EVDO a lot, your battery life isn't going to be too great. When I had the flashing EVDO, I only got 1-2 days MAX with my phone. Now that the EVDO icon is solid, I can get 4-5 days with about 1 hour of talk time.
