8000 headphone warranty?

Hi! I got my vx8000 last Feb 1st and the headphones that came with it just broke! You gotta mess with the connection to make it work. Is it covered under the 1 year manufacturers warranty since it came with the phone?

Anything you purchase from Verizon has a 1yr warranty as long as there is no physical / liquid damage, and hopefully you have the reciept.
