Does anyone know where the euro version of the 9500 can be purchased AND tried with a provider with return priviledges? I need to read email with GIF/JPG/TIF attachments containing numerical data. Had trouble with the IPAQ and T-Mobile would not support/troubleshoot the software they sent with the unit. Before investing this much in a phone, it would be nice to make sure everything works as promised by both the unit and service provider.
Also, why the delay in getting this unit in the US? This phone has the potential for a lock on the business traveler that needs data connections. I would love to put the phone through its paces.

I don't know where you live however why would you want a euro version if you live in the U.S. with the exception that it's taken sooooo long for the U.S. version to come out!
"Overseas Electronics in Chicago to answer your question. Phone (773) 274-3764.
This IS THE PHONE YOU WANT! It really has everything, including EDGE technology! 😲

First, because I travel internationally and the 900/1800/1900 option seems to have the best coverage for both US and abroad.
Second, the Overseas Electronic web site web page indicates a 20% restocking fee. If the phone works fine but the carrier (T-Mobile or Cingular for GSM phones) doesn't deliver, I am stuck and both the carrier and phone company will point fingers at each other regardless of where the real problem lies.
Is there a good place to purchase that will make certain everything works as promised including the service?
