Motorola E680 / E680i

please help me how to E680i to Multytasking java

I HAVE THE MOTOROLA E680I I AM USING ATT MY PHONE CONNECTS TO THE INTERNET BROWSER CALLED MMODE MAY I HAVE THE SETTINGS FOR CONNECTING THIS PHONE WITH THE MMODE ATT SETINGS THE CINGULAR SETTINGS WILL NOT WORK ONLY THE FORMER ATT WIRELESS MMODE SETTINGS WILL.

setting up mms has been pretty fustrating as i cant figure out how to get picture messaging to work. i can send picture messages jsut fine. however i cannot recieve picture messages. google only helps so much...

can someone please help me, i couldnt thank you enough for the assistance. maybe my settings are off or something?

Ok, so the E680i is a wonderous cell phone

I have a few questions though.....

who will the phone work with? I currently have T-mobile as my carrier. I maybe changing to either Verizon or Sprint.
Will the E680i work out of the box with these co's or will I need to make adjustments?

How big a memory card will the E680i take? I read how someone used a 1 gig card. Can it take something bigger?

It has stereo bluetooth and can use stereo bluetooth headphones. What about bt keyboards?
There is 1 made by Freedom that is self contained and even looks like it was made for the E680i.

This is a work in progress. If I think of anything else I'll be sure to post it here (where else! LOL)

i turned on my phone today, and now all the icons are exclamtion pionts!! what the heck is going on!? can anyone help!? tried all the simple things.. power off on, different simcard, no sim cardbattery out.. charging.. nothing!!! i need help!!

plz need help i can't open & send sms also the phonebook is empty & can't read my sim memory, but there's no problem for calling and receiving call, and all application seems fine. plz help... :'(

Please help me. My E680 phone is saying that it has reached its memory limit with SMS storage. I really don't want to erase all of the SMS. Does anyone know if this phone comes with a way to backup all of the SMS to somewhere else (i.e., computer, SD card)? Thank you very much. I'm very desperate now. Please help.

Hi everybody, iam new to the site. i just bought the e680i and iam having trouble setting it up for internet use. I have TMobile and i pay for the service and it worked for the e398 which i use to have. Also does anyone know how to transfer videos from the pc to the phone. any help is would be GREAT. 😁 COOL SITE

what do i do?

one of my big reasons for this phone was to let go of my ipod. now i can't seem to get any songs onto the phone! i've installed the mobile phone tools and the multimedia compnent. i get the screen from where i can click and drag but my "phone" side reports an error message. i'm trying to get some itunes songs over, but i don't think they are compatible. i have a 256mb sd card in the phone already.

help! this is a tricky phone.

Does anyone know where or how I can change the themes on the phone? I don't mean the color of it...but like I've seen pictures of the phone where the dial buttons are in circles & colored...instead of squares. I have the e680i. I would greatly appreciate it if someone can tell me how to change it. thanks.

Hi. I just bought this phone. it is amazing. its got it all. i having 2 problems that are driving me nutts!
1- the sync software always crashes and the phone and pc dont recognize each other. so i cant sync with outlook. help please!
2- i transferred all my address book from my old phone with bluetooth to this one but it doesnt store any of the names. when i transfer them one by one it does. it just doesnt recognize the whole address book. help!

I still cant get the danged voicemail notification etc to setup.

Press and Hold 1 doesnt really do anything.

When someone leaves a voicemail (Say, my phone was turned off, or out of range) i get a blank 'text message', All it says is 'From'.

And, whenever I access the voicemail (by dialing 123, or +18056377243, I get the same blank text message while I am accessing the voicemail.

Anyone figured that out yet?

I am thinking of purchasing the E680, and wanted to know if anyone has had any problems sinking with Outlook, Thunderbird, and Sunbird? We are kind of still on Outlook, but are moving to Thunderbird and Sunbird once the final version of Sunbird is out.

I am looking for an ebook reader and some other software for this phone, can anyone point me in the right direction and tell me how to install it?

I'm debating the purchase of this phone. Is it true you cannot assing different ringtones to contacts (no ringer ID)? No predictive text entry either? How do you go about texting without T9?

Also, I would be using this phone on Cingular on the west coast. Is anyone else doing that? I'm concerned about reception. Thanks.
