Sony Ericsson Z500

Mobilebee.com has the z500 available before Monday, so sometime over the weekend they will have it. You can do a search for it and it will state availability.

Even when the z500 is released this coming week, possibly Monday, will Cingular stores have it in stock on the same day it's officially released?

Is is correct to say that the Z500 will be available either Nov. 22nd, or the week of? It seems like everyone on this forum has came to an agreement on the release date.

How did the people who know for sure, find out this projected release date?

anyone know the exact day this phone is coming out. I called 4 cingular stores. One said tomorrow one said in a week one said sometime in december and one didnt hear about it at all

There's plenty of rumor as to when we will see the z500a available, most people are saying the week of Thanksgiving. But is there anyone out there with good insight as to when we will see this model coming, like what day if someone knows?

Also, by what means should someone order this phone...calling Cingular, going to a store, or online, what might be the fastest way when it's finally released?

I won this phone from Cingular and received it today without a sim card. I am an ATT customer with a GSM plan and a sim card for a nokia 3595 phone.
Now i'm being told by cingular that in order to get a plan with them I need to buy a phone, I don't need another phone, I wanna use this awesome phone and i'm telling you guys the phone is awesome. It does everything!
I was told to just use the sim card from my old nokia and I did and it works, but i'm afraid i'll run into problems with this in the long run. They are saying they can't just send me a cingular sim card.
I have been on the phone with these folks since 3pm over 3 hrs and i've got the run another each time. They even gave me a number to call that was suppose to be customer care ...

I've noticed that the Z500 is no longer for sale on Amazon.com. My order still shows that it will be shipping between Nov. 22 and Dec. 6. Has anyone heard anything reguarding this phone being released by ATT?

Calling twice, at about the same time for two days, talking to two different customer service representatives, was told the same thing...that the SE z500 is going to be released during the week of Thanksgiving.

Is this still the consensus?

I was wondering what people thought about this phone compared to z500? I'm tired of waiting for se.

Ummmm, does anybody see the "call" and "call end" buttons? Most other phones have a green button and red one. Maybe I'm just blind, i dunno.

I know this is all speculation, but I've been waiting for this phone since I saw it in march. Does anyone know anything about when it comes out?

I was in an att store today, and the guy there said next monday they'll be switching over to cingular. So new phones will be coming in. Maybe the z500 🙂

let see a t637 cost $229 if you wanna buy direct so does the z500

but t637 has bluetooth, infared etc. and z500 dont so why it cost the same ?

why would any one want to buy a z500 when you can get a t637 ? cause of a flip ? it even looks agly

a phone like z500 shouldnt cost no more then $100 since it dont have anything at all but the basic phone functions

on ebay you can pick up an unlocked brand new t637 from $150-180

so who really wants this z500 ? and whats sooooo good about it for $224 ? and is it worth it ?, (they should of made it QUAD band at least to give it some credit)

Hi Yal, I won this phone! I'm an ATT customer and I need to know will I be able to use this phone once the merger is over or will I have to sign up with cingular. Also do they allow you to use phones that have been won or do you have to buy the phone from them. I know I sound crazy but I don't know much about cell phones.

I have a Nokia 3595 and I can't get an ATT signal in my home, I can only get a Cingular signal in my home so I need to know now that they are merging can I use the Cingular signal without being charged extra?

does anyone know anyone that knows anyone that knows a solid date this phone comes out? Pure-Mobile has changed again saying November 30th, this site doesn't give a date, but Cingular now has it under its ringtones as a phone, yet it doesn't have it to where you can buy it. I'm soooo confused, someone fill me in here 😕
