external display

I assume the external display is like the ones on the VX4400 where it is permantly on, not like on the LX5550 or VX6000 where is scrolls and turns off after a few minutes? And I see this phone has drive mode like the LX5550! That's awesome!

YES!!!!! Thank god I'm not the only one who hates the scrolling/turning off feature of these color/OLED outer displays!!! It might as well not have a 2nd display if it isn't on!

Well, if you are not looking at the display, then what difference does it make if it is on or not. If all you have to do to turn on the outside display is push a button on the side of the phone, then what's the big deal???

I don't know why, but it makes a huge difference to me. Just the way I am. I prefer to have it on all of the time. It's easier to look at it than to have to hit a button every time.
