Exactly what data is on the outside LCD...???
Is it exactly as shown in the picture on the PhoneScoop "Info" tab...???

Date, Time, Signal Strength, Mode, Battery Status. Also shows driving mode when enabled. Incoming call / message notification... Probably other things that I haven't seen yet.

if you own LG phones in the past, the outside LCD is the same. Clearer reading than audiovox 9900.

Can anyone tell me if the phone is shut and you are not using it can you see the information on the outside LCD display. I hated the 6000 becuase the information went away after 3 minutes or so and you had to hit a button to see if you had a missed call or the time.

Outside screen is viewable in the 6100 (as long as the phone is powered on). You see time, date, battery, signal strength, etc. The screen is very close to the screen on the LG4400 if you are familiar with that phone. The exterior screen is one of the reasons I chose the 6100, and one of the reasons I returned the Audiovox 9900.
