TXT Message alert is really quiet any way to make it louder?
Well just like the title says the text message alert is really quiet I cant even hear it if it is on the table right next to me. Now I am used to the 4500 which was plenty loud. Does any one know if it can be increased? I have tried adjusting the ringer volume and the speaker phone volume but neither makes a diffeence.

Read your manual... page 85...
You can select from several types of alert sounds for numerous events... including Text Messaging...
You can have "Loud Beeps" or even select a specific "ringtone"...
I did not get my 6100 phone yet, but I did read the manual... Phones not here in SE Wisconsin, yet...
