The only Verizon support way to get pix/tonez/gamez on any phone is GetItNow.
but the clarity is awesome. It is the best I have ever had on a cell phone.

i've tried sending 4 diff msgs now with 4 diff midi files to my phone using vzwpix.com. the msgs go to my normal email acct, but not my phone. i've tried renaming the .mid files to .midi, i've tried send just the midi file and also the midi plus text and images. nothing seems to reach my phone though. i've sent a text only msg to my phone via vtext and i get it ok. any ideas?
thx,
themaxdaddy.
The file extension for a MIDI file is '.mid' not '.midi'
If you are using '.midi' this could cause problems...
I have had no problems sending and using mp3 files with the extension changed to .mid...
I have also sent and tried several real MIDI (.mid) files with no problem...

i am a novice when it comes to sending .mid files to a phone, i was wondering if anyone could fully explain the process to me, like how to get an mp3 to the correct size, how to send it to my phone, and how much it would cost, things of that nature, thanks for the help
truth
It would really be silly to do it yet again...
Just use the search function for "ringtones" and start reading... it is all there...

You were able to get mp3 files to play on the phone? I've finally been able to get midi files to work by sending an email with a .mid attachment to (my phone#)@vzwpix.com
I tried compressing a mp3 file down to 200k and emailed it to my phone. My phone says "unsupported content type audio/midi" then the file name.
Did you do anything other than change the file extension?
Thx.
I'll check into this when I get a chance...
