Data capabilities?
Can this phone be used to connect a laptop to the Internet? It seems it should, but the Verizon site does not list this phone with "InternetReady" or "NationalAccess" service. Can one purchase the USB cable and connect this phone to a laptop and get Internet access on the laptop?

You will need a suitable data cable and the "modem emulation" software that is compatible with that cable...
Radio Shack has the needed stuff from "FutureDial"... The 6100 uses the same data cable as the 7000...
