LG VX-6100
VX6100 vs. Moto v265
I was wondering, which phone is better, the VX6100 or the new Moto v265. Any input on any of the features is helpful, such as the display, speakerphone, reception, ease of use, etc. Again, any help is great.

I have been poking around for weeks now and love the 6100 (only playing with it in the store) and then over the weekend went and played with the 265... even with buy one get one free for $49 I still like the 6100 better. Not much to tell you hear but with all the reviews and playing around with them before I make my big purchase - Im still game with the 6100. 265 felt cheap to me... others may disagree.

I am unhappy with the 6100 becuase the other person on the line always sounds choppy and distorted.

Just got done comparing the two at the local VZ store. The 6100 by far seems superior. It has a bright larger screen, speakerphone seems much clearer & the camera is much clearer even in low light.

I am responsible for buying 4 phones for a family plan. The Samsong a560 had a phone pad that was so hot my cheek burned. Now it seems that the 6100 has uneven reception and also gets very warm. Any suggestions for another phone

Try looking into the vx7000...the price just dropped to 99.99 with two year agreement and it is buy one get up to three for free...in my area not sure about everywhere. I have been researching it and it seems that the only things lacking are speakerphone and tri-mode. Check it out.

Try the Moto v265 which is on sale for 49.99 (2 year agreement). I have not had any heat issues. For a comparison, see my posting titled "LG VX6100 vs Moto v265" (Didn't see this thread until after I posted ) 😕

ya, wait till you actually use it in a real world scenario. it's a piece of junk compared to the moto v265.
