external screen on 6100
This might sound like a ridiculous question, but something i need to know before I buy this phone. The external screen on my vx4400 flashes in like a rainbow of ugly colors when called or calling someone. Can someone tell me if the 6100 has this same ugly feature? I'm tired of looking like a retarded clown when im called.

No - the screen on this one provides all th epertinent information with none of the flashing colors. It is like the older models again.

NO don't worry this does not have those colors. It just has that pool water color that brightens with call. It does have a 2-4 second delay in the ear-piece volume which it is in the process of getting rectified or so they say. I too had the 4400 & 6000 and what a surperb Ear-piece Volume.

Are you saying that the earpiece on the 4400 and 6000 is superb... or the earpiece of the 6100? Sounds like there is a real volume issue on this phone. I was about to buy this phone, but now im not so sure. Especially, considering that to buy it straight up its $270 (not the 150 the website will lead you to believe it is).
